Pride—perhaps the darkest of the seven deadly sins, or perhaps the most misunderstood. This work explores the tension between the human body and the mannequin form through the fragmentation of limbs. By breaking the whole into parts, it asks: do the same ideals of beauty and perfection still hold when we view the body not as a complete form, but as disjointed pieces.
